Master mason Riemer realized his life's work here from 1881 to 1899, creating a unique ensemble of 18 residential buildings around a park courtyard. His constructions are complemented by other splendid buildings with numerous shops and restaurants located in the neighboring blocks between Yorkstraße, Großberenstraße, Hagelbergerstraße, and Meringdamm.
